Pitti People is lots of different people.

It is a community of people from all over the world who gather in Florence every six months to share their passion for fashion, to see what the new trends will be, to get to know each other and make new connections.

This season’s editions of the Pitti Immagine trade fairs are dedicated to the unmistakable style of the “Pitti People”.

During the Fair, a group of young bloggers will be wending their way through the city and around the Fortezza da Basso snapping pictures of buyers, journalists and everyone who is part of the Pitti People: their faces and figures, their expressions, and the clothes and accessories they wear.

Day after day, the Pitti Immagine staff will pick the images that will be posted on the huge wall-installation set up in the main court of the Fortezza da Basso, making into a gigantic picture mag dedicated to Pitti People.

The pictures will also be published on the Pitti Immagine website, and part will be made available to other fashion, luxury and lifestyle sites which, in turn, will publish them on the pages they dedicate to our event.

LOMO, too, is participating in the project with its plastic “professional” cameras, and by organizing a special contest that will take up one section of the wall-installation to present the contestants’   interpretations of Pitti People

All the photographs displayed on the wall-installation during the event – except for those entered in the “Lomo Contest” which will be taken under the direct responsibility of the Lomographic Society Italia – shall be considered personal information and will be handled by Pitti Immagine S.r.l. in its capacity as proprietor of the Pitti People project. The CEO of Pitti Immagine is the person responsible for the handling of such personal data.

All parties enjoy the rights set forth in article 7 of  Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.

The list of persons assigned to image handling is available at the fair Press Center  (Lyceum – first floor) that will also respond to all requests for information.
